... this will make you smile. Back on August 6th my Mum posted a birthday card to me. It arrived earlier this week after taking a minor detour - via Aruba in the Caribbean ! Obviously the card wanted to take a holiday and get some sun before embarking on its journey to Thailand, and the nice people in the Aruban postal service even stamped it to say it had been there.I have no real clue why it was diverted - the address clearly stated Thailand, and my Mum actually sent two more cards shortly after that arrived within four days. It's just one of lifes mysteries I suppose. The picture (right) shows my card lapping up the sun on a beach in Aruba.
It looks very sunny in Aruba - I hope your card remembered to use sunscreen!
