Ousted former Prime Minister Thaksin Shinawatra has reportedly launched a new website - www.truethaksin.com - to give his version of events and 'the facts' about Thailand. Yet today it's been announced the the Government will be launching its own site - www.truethailand.com - in the next month to counter his claims.
Thaksin is constantly being portrayed as being insignificant in the future of the Kingdom yet the Government wants to spend time and money in countering his claims. Why? Do his comments carry more weight, and in reality are many people even going to bother to read both sides of the arguments?
