AND THE TRUTH IS ... ?

From The Nation:
Bank of Thailand's governor Tarisa Watanagase on Wednesday said the central bank has permitted the exporters to pay the freight cost in foreign exchange currencies to the foreign-owned shipping firms, in line with the request of the local exporters.

From The Bangkok Post:
Bank of Thailand governor Tarisa Watanagase said the central bank could not allow payment of cargoes in US dollar terms as sought by the private sector to ease pressure of the baht surge.

Okay, in the grand scheme of things this isn't an earth-shattering story, but it does underline a problem with the majority of the Thai media. I suspect something has got lost in translation somewhere along the line, but if your business is exporting then this story does matter.
Who should you believe?
