Nation Multimedia Group Public Limited Company (NMG) reported the formation of a new subsidiary company to the Stock Exchange of Thailand last week. Nation News Network Company Limited will be established in the fourth quarter of 2008 to "sharpen the strategic direction of the English News Business Unit." NMG will own 99.99 per cent of the shares in the new company.
The parent company also announced that its book operation, Nation Books International, will be converted into a public company and renamed Nation International Edutainment Public Company Limited.
