'GALLERY OF GORE' CONTINUES

If anyone thinks Thai Rath's publication of the David Carradine pictures last week was an isolated incident they are sadly mistaken.
Today's edition shows the unedited face of a dead three-year-old child whereas Saturday's edition portrayed a similarly graphic image of the death of a monk in Thailand's south.
Elsewhere on today's front page there is news that Thai Rath has won a news photography competition

  1. I just bought my Thai Rath dated 16th June (I buy it at 10 a.m.)and for the first time I can remember there are no corpses.
Thai Rath publishes up to four different front pages on any day.
If any new photos come in they reset the front, but the inside stays the same. This makes it easy to buy the same edition by mistake.
    As Bernard used to say.
    This is Thailand

  2. I'm told by my colleagues the date issue ('today's edition is dated 16th June) is because of the large number of readers outside Bangkok who do not get their copies until tomorrow.

Certainly the issue I got earlier has the face of the dead child, complete with bruising from the attack.
