HEADING 'UP NORTH'

Next Tuesday I will be taking my first business trip outside Bangkok. I'm going to Chiang Mai in the north of Thailand - to meet some advertisers and to review a new hotel and resort complex. It will be a four day/three night trip and I'm going with three of my colleagues.
Chiang Mai is 469 miles north of Bangkok and is Thailand's second city. it is surrounded by miountains and is also seen as the most culturally important city in the kingdom. At the very least it will provide me with a change of scenery and more pictures for the Bangkok Bugle.
