MOVING OFFICE

The company is moving offices this weekend, from the 25th Floor in Wall Street Tower to the 6th Floor in Thanapoom Tower on the other side of the city. It means a bit further for me to travel to and form work, and for sure it means more time sitting in taxis that aren't moving.
On the plus side, I am getting my own office and that's something I have never had before. My boss said it's a reward for the work in getting the magazine licensing deal, but also because of the confidential, business sensitive work I am sometimes involved with.
In many ways I wish I was there, helping them move and making sure everything goes well, but I do know that we have five or six people who are more than capable of ensuring everything runs smoothly.
Next Tuesday is a Public Holiday in Thailand, and Monday will be very much a 'making sure everything is working' day. My boss sent me a nice email today and admitted he's getting stressed about the whole move. Moving is stressful, but it will be worth it as it means all our publications will be together, plus we have the space to expand which we didn't have at our previous place.
