THREE DOWN, TWO TO GO

It's lunchtime now. I have spent the morning interviewing candidates for a variety of roles within the new magazine. I've got two more this afternoon, and I feel like I should record myself because I am saying exactly the same things to each candidate.
To be honest I was impressed with the quality of the candidates this morning. Two could easily end up with jobs if we can put together a tempting offer. One thing that did surprise me with two of the candidates this morning was the quality of their English speaking skills. I would say that if you closed you eyes and listened to the speaking you wouldn't know they are Thai - and that says a lot.
I'm not that keen on interviewing; it really should be down to HR, but because Business Week is my baby I want to make sure I personally interview everyone. I need to be sure they understand exactly what is required of them.
Time for a quick bite and then it's back to the interviews.
