CABLES EVERYWHERE

I know I often complain about things in Thailand, like the fact that a moderate thunderstorm has a 50/50 change of causing a power cut; like that fact that the Internet connection is unpredictable and unstable; and like the fact that trying to make or receive an international call at peak times is like playing the lottery - you lose more often that you win.
This picture, which I took on the way to work this morning, says everything you need to know about these problems, and how big a task it will be to solve them in the short term. Health and Safety just doesn't seem to apply here.

Teresa - the Amazon ads (and Google too) are my subtle attempt at grabbing a slice of the ecommerce money that everyone is raving about.
As for the picture - I took it from the back of the taxi. I'm aware that the blog needs more pictures so expect some in the next few days and weeks.
This one's not gonna win any awards but it tells a story more than words alone can do.
