A SUBDUED MOOD

From The Bangkok Post earlier today:
-----
"The Fine Arts Department believes the construction of the Royal crematorium furnace to be used for the Royal cremation of Her Royal Highness Princess Galyani Vadhana will cost approximately 200 million baht (or 3.4 million UK pounds). Total construction time is expected to range between 4-6 months and a team of 400-500 people will be involved in its completion."
-----
There was a ceremony at our office this morning for workers to pay respects to, and pray for, the late Princess who died last week. Nine monks chanted blessings. Thailand certainly has a very subdued feel right now, and rightly so.
