SYMPATHY FOR SAMAK

I have a degree of sympathy for Prime Minister Samak this morning. The Bangkok Post carries a story (if you can call it that) about reporters chasing the PM into public toilets at a food market yesterday. Quite rightly, in my opinion, he's critical of the journalists and is quoted as saying: "Is this how their editors trained them?".
It must be a slow news day when this makes it onto the front page.

Yeah, Samak is the one to be lecturing on manners. I wonder if he had sinful sex the night before visiting the market?

Well-orchestrated PR stunt to create public sympathy for his embattled position (both in politics and, metaphorically, in the restroom.
