DO YOU HAVE OPINIONS ABOUT THAI MEDIA?

If you have an opinion about the media landscape in Thailand a global news network is keen to hear from you.
The organisation is looking for one or two people to provide a 30-second webcam video about their opinions on that subject. It's useful, although not essential, if you have professional connections to the industry.
If you're interested please email me at bkkandy AT myway.com and I will pass on your details to the producers.

The Bangkok Post is again guilty of censorship...

the ABC in Australia also carried this AFP news release and lo, there is another paragraph at the end, as follows: ...

"Telecommunications tycoon Thaksin is loathed by elements of the old power cliques in the military, palace and bureaucracy who felt threatened by his immense popularity with the rural poor."

It seems the AFP reporter really understands quite well where the problems of Thailand come from!

But the Bangkok Post wants to hide the truth!

A nice spot David.

This is really an interesting case, not just because what you've highlighted but also because other parts have been removed from the original AFP story.

To call this story an AFP-originated one with so much editing is highly suspicious.

I will look at this in more details and compare the original to what has appeared elsewhere.

Thanks agsin.
