IT WAS WORK, HONESTLY

I know what is looks like, but I really was working in Chiang Mai last week. The reason I was getting a traditional Thai Foot Massage is that we needed a handsome 'farang' to pose for some pictures, and given the fact I was the only foreigner staying at the resort then I qualified by default.
I know it looks relaxing, but you have to remember that I was being photographed and watched by about 15 people at the time, combined with the fact that the top I was wearing (supplied by the spa, along with the trousers) was far too tight.
When you look at the picture more closely it looks as though the girl giving me the foot massage has lost her hand somewhere in my foot, but what she was actually doing was thumping my foot - all part of the traditional Thai experience.
The other funny thing is that I only got this treatment on my left foot - the photographer got everything he needed before she had time to start on my other foot. Needless to say my left foot was totally relaxed wheras my right foot felt somewhat left out.
