INTERVIEW EXPERIENCES

I have more people to interview today and tomorrow for jobs on the new magazine. I've also got another 30 or so resumes to look at to decide whether or not to interview those candidates.
One interesting thing yesterday was a partially-sighted girl who came for a job as a translator. She has no vision at all in her right eye and something like 30 per cent vision in her left. Yet she was the only person so far to have spotted an error in the General Knowledge test I am asking all candidates to complete. I am going to leave the error in to see how many others will spot it.
She's also got the highest score so far in that test - so it goes to show you should never discriminate against anyone because of what might be a potential problem.
