MY LIFE AS A 'PRETTY GIRL'

When someone lists 'Pretty Girl' on their CV under previous employment then you just have to ask them about it, right?
A 'pretty girl' in Thailand is what people in the rest of the world would know as promotional staff; the kind of girls (generally) that are hired to promote a new product, hand out leaflets, .. that sort of thing. Here they are known as 'pretties' or 'pretty girls', a vague reference to models that got lost in translation as some point?
