SWEET-TASTING FEMALES WITH CHILDREN

The translation team (three) is now in place for the new magazine and I've given them lots of articles to translate to gain some useful experience and get them up to speed.
Yesterday we had an interesting discussion about the phrase 'yummy mummy', which in the sense if was being used referred to a section of consumers that were the target of one particular marketing campaign.
Try translating that literally and you end up with 'sweet tasting females with children'!
What we have chosen to do with this, and with other slang terms, is to keep the words in English and include a short Thai description of what the phrase means.
We don't want to treat our readers as stupid but when three experienced translators haven't come across a phrase then you can bet the vast majority of our readers won't have either.
