NEW ARRIVALS

Sophie and Sarah arrived in Bangkok last night, and Tanya and I went to collect them from the airport. They're friends of my Auntie Viv and they arrived in Bangkok at the start of three months of travelling around South East Asia.

My advice to anyone coming here is expect the unexpected, and sure enough on the taxi trip from the airport the driver stopped for a wee - leaving the meter running in the process. That's the second time for me that a taxi driver has stopped for a leak and the passengers have paid for the privilege.
