TAXI IN THE FAST LANE
My new blog - www.bangkoktaxi.blogspot.com - is only a couple of weeks old but it's already generating quite a bit of interest. I'm getting more visitors per day than I ever imagined and two magazines have expressed an interest in using some of my images in their forthcoming publications.
The inspiration came from a book I had around 10 years ago called DriveBy Shootings. All those images were taken from a cab in New York. I wonder if there's potential for a Bangkok Taxi book in the future?
So far I've taken all the images with my Panasonic camera. It's far more inferior than my Nikon D70 but it's a lot more discreet. I can hold the lens to the window and no one will know I'm taking a picture. It's also a lot easier to focus quickly.
The main thing is that I am enjoying creating these pictures, and I hope those who see them enjoy them too.

Congratulations again! :) Like you said, pictures speak a thousand words and random pictures captured at the only moment tells even more of a story. Way to go!!
Can you also please put the link up on your bangkokbugle blog too?
Congratulation Andrew! Life along the road is always interesting, and it can speak thousands of words for authentic Bangkok daily routine.
I have another idea like Bangkok Taxi Today, it might be an interesting topic.I have also experienced various type of taxi drivers in Bangkok. For example, some continuous burped along the way (how could he do it with passengers on board?!?) and I had to say 'stop please'. Some talked about the movie Harry Potter, and some just complained about his wife who had an affair with another guy..
Oh my god..
