EVO HITS THAILAND

The ranks of licensed Thai language magazines have grown with the arrival of Evo from the UK. The first issue of the Thai language edition hit the shelves last week into what is already a competitive sector of Thai language magazines. As well as licensed editions from overseas in the shape of TopGear, AutoCar and AutoBild, there are around 20 locally born magazines all vieing for the same readers and, most importantly, same advertisers.

I wish Penta, the publishers of Evo, the best of luck with their new magazine. I am not sure if Evo has the brand image or reputation amongst Thai readers and advertisers to work. Only time will tell.
