THAI TRANSLATIONS

The beauty of Google Analytics is you can see what words or phrases people are using to get to your blog. Last week there was an increase in people looking for "free Thai translations" who ended up here.
There are some excellent free websites that will translate one or two English words into Thai, and vice-versa, but when it comes to translating stories or articles you will need to pay. That's because in addition to the actual translation you need someone to interpret what has been translated and make it read well in either language.
My company has been doing some of that work in recent months. We charge 800 baht per page (which is roughly 2 baht per word) from either Thai-to-English or English-to-Thai, and that includes copy checking by an experienced native journalist in either language.
We're not the cheapest and to be honest we don't actively look for this kind of work as it's not our core business, however I think the quality we offer is probably amongst the best in Bangkok.
