MY DUBAI

My first Dubai experience ends in 26 hours and this trip has consisted of interesting views from the inside of a hotel room, the inside of a taxi and the inside of a conference room. Not that I am complaining too much - this is a work trip after all. The hotel is actually excellent (review coming shortly for anyone looking for a decent hotel in Dubai), the taxis are very professional and the conference ... well, it's awesome. More about that over the weekend.
I'll just say one thing about the taxis. There is a sign inside each Dubai taxi that says 'Your trip will be free if the meter is not used'. Can someone make this mandatory for Bangkok taxis as well?
