I THINK THE EARTH JUST MOVED

An earthquake measuring 7.6 on the Richter scale struck in southern China around 90 minutes ago, and I think I experienced it. The Bangkok Post is reporting that office building in Bangkok swayed and some, I believe, were also evacuated.
Actually I think I heard it more than felt it; if I did feel anything unsual I would have put it down to vertigo. There was a very dull rumbling at about the time this earthquake hit and I remember looking out of my office window because it sounded like thunder. My office is only on the 6th floor and nothing else happened here. It's only now putting that sound and the reports together that I realise what I must have experienced.
