FASCINATED BY FOOTBALL

This country is mad about football, so much so that I had yet another 'only in Thailand' surreal experience on the journey to work this morning.
It's pretty common to hear a round-up of the overnight results on the radio, but this morning that also included results from the British Gas League, also known as the Southern League.
I wonder how many people listening even know where the likes of Bashley, Mangotsfield and Yate are? I also wonder how many even care?
