THAKSIN STARTS A 'NORMAL' LIFE

The pictures of the family Thaskin shopping in Guildford earlier this week caught my eye. Taken by my former colleagues at Surrey & Berkshire Newspapers for The Surrey Advertiser, it's amazing how many Thai people seemed to have made this part of suburban English their home. I think in the six years as a photoghrapher in a neighbouring town I came across no more than a dozen Thais so to get this number in one show is pretty amazing.
On closer inspection and after consulting with my Thai colleagues it seems the PAz, several minders, personal stylists, etc, have also followed the Shinwatras into exile. Judging by this, and other pictures taken in the sequence there would seem to be about 10 people accompanying the family.
Guildford, or a mansion in Weybridge to be exact where Thaskin has a home, isn't exactly the worst place in the world to have escaped to.

Seems to be a very well orchestrated escape then.
