MORE TROUBLE FOR THAILAND

I can't help but feel worried for Thailand following this morning's clashes between Police and anti-Government protesters. Media reports indicate anything up to 70 people have been injured with two people having parts of their legs "blown off" by tear gas canisters exploding.
I want to stress these clashes are happening in the same place as the earlier demonstrations, and it's certainly not widespread chaos throughout Bangkok. There is no State of Emergency and, so far, no countries have issued advice against travel to Thailand.
What worries me is things are likely to get worse before they get better. Once again negative images of Thailand are appearing around the world. The damage done by September's clashes was pretty bad and is still being felt, but this is arguably worse and has the potential to cause even more problems for the Kingdom.
