MEDIA INDUSTRY DESCENDS ON BANGKOK

Earlier this week I wrote about how Publish Asia 2010, an important industry conference and expo, will be taking place in Bangkok in May.
Now there's news that an equally significant industry event - The Asia Publishing Convention - will also be held this year in the Thai capital. This event, which is scheduled for July, also includes prestigious Asia Magazine Management Awards.
Developing markets are certainly attracting the attention of the industry. World Magazine Marketplace 2010 will be taking place in Sao Paulo, Brazil, while the bi-annual FIPP World Magazine Conference is set for New Delhi next year.
