GUITARIST TO HAVE THAI LICENSED EDITION

The first licensed Thai language local edition of an overseas magazine this year has been announced.
Guitarist, a 26-year-old music title published by Future in the United Kingdom, will be published locally by Bangkok-based Diplomat Publishing from April with a cover price of 150 baht.
Last year saw a number of local language editions being launched, including Grazia and Four Four Two. There are currently more than 50 local language editions of global magazines being published under license in Thailand.
What's unusual about this particular planned launch is that it's a very specialist title. It's not going to have wide appeal, both in terms of readers and advertisers.
