HOW NOT TO SELL A CONDOMINIUM
If you're paying 2.5 million baht for a condominium you would expect the developer to be putting a little bit more of an effort into their English language marketing materials.
The style in this new, French-themed development in the Ladprao area of Bangkok is described in one sales brochure as (deep breath) ... :
"Style in decoration from Europe handed down from ancient civilization whichidentifies being prominententily of the European people succeeding beautifulidentity unit it has becomethe stereotypeof architecturalconstruction in variousplaces, the same as Avenuewhich has brought civilization of beingEurope toestablish architect throughout the project."
Obviously English marketing materials aren't a big factor in purchasing decisions because, according to the developers, around a quarter of the 75 per cent of units that have been sold to date have been to non-Thais.
I hope this isn't another example of Google Translate at work.

Unfortunately the standard of English in developers' marketing materials is on a par with the quality of their construction work and after sales service. After hearing about the woes of friends who have bought condos in Thailand I would never buy here.
