PHUKET NEWSPAPER READERS MISS OUT

Copies of Saturday's daily English and Thai language newspaper did apparently not arrive on the Thai southern island of Phuket.
Several bookshop owners told me they did not receive any copies of any editions which featured images and words from the Royal Wedding, and one reported getting "a handful" of their normal allocation which sold out in minutes.
Some copies of Sunday's editions of The Bangkok Post and The Nation were on sale at the Bookazine store in the domestic departures area at Phuket international airport, and I saw six copies sold in a matter of 10 minutes by foreigners eager to catch up on news from the wedding.
