The Thai language edition is selling for 350 baht - more than three times the cost of the Thai language titles positioned alongside. A tough sell indeed.

Hard sell? That really depends. If this is a monthly, it's suicide, but this is a book so can sit on the shelf for a year. A dribble of sales will add up over time and your costs are lower for distro. You can do just-in-time printing and restock, and if it still sells after a year, even better.
