STREET FOOD

Hawker food stalls are everywhere in Bangkok. This image was taken at Chatuchak Weekend Market and the food on offer was satay chicken and pork. You can generally buy seven sticks for 20 baht (around 25p).
Last night I had fried noodles and chicken with asparagus, and it was gorgeous. And the cost - just 40 baht or around 55p. You can't even buy a packet of crisps and a bar of chocolate for that in the UK, yet here you can get a meal that could easily feed two.I was feeling especially hungry so it actually only fed one.
