A TRIP TO SINGAPORE

Tomorrow (Friday) I am flying down to Singapore for a meeting. The flight should be about two hours each way and this time I'm flying with Thai Airways. My colleagues and I have opted to fly there and back the same day because it's only going to be a short meeting, and there's no real need to stay. I leave Bangkok at 8am and should be back by 10pm - with hopefully some time for a bit of shopping after the meeting.
I've only been to Singapore once - and that doesn't really count because I didn't get off the plane that time. I'm really looking forward to the meeting though - it's one I have been trying to arrange for the last three months and it's with the president and publisher of a leading global publisher. He's American and the two people I am travelling with are Japanese - so it's going to be interesting.
