SUGGESTED READING

I'm not sure where to begin writing about the events of the past couple of weeks, so given the fact that a lot of my journalist friends are regular readers of this blog I will start with some suggested reading.
Anderson Cooper, for those who don't know, is a news anchor for CNN. His new book, which I had actually seen in Bangkok but waited until reaching New York to buy, is entitled 'Dispatches from the Edge'. I'm really glad I waited until the US to buy it as I picked up an autographed copy at Barnes & Noble on Sixth Avenue.
His book is a frank, sometimes emotional account of his life and experiences in the media. I really enjoyed reading it, and I'm pretty sure anyone with even the slightest interest in the media will enjoy it too.
