JINGLE BELLS

Thailand has many shops you would recognise from the UK, and yesterday we went shopping to two of them - Tesco Lotus and Makro.
I'm a regular visitor to Tesco, and the stores here are very much like the bigger ones in the UK where you can get everything from a toaster to a pair of socks.
Yesterday was the first time I'd been to Makro, and it's almost identical to the ones I visited in the UK. I still find it surreal though to be here and having Christmas songs like Jingle Bells and Silent Night being played while I shop. I don't feel in the least bit Christmassy, but I'm sure that will shange after a spell of Christmas shopping back in the UK.
