MORE BOMBS

Early this morning several more explosions happened in the north of Bangkok.
To me what seems strange about this incident is that (a) they were apparently grenades, and (b) it happened in the middle of the night. Grenades would indicate a possible military connection, and the fact it happened in the middle of the night means that the getaway in what is normally a congested area was far easier.
The targets were weird too - a newspaper office and a hotel, although one can only assume those were the intended targets. One thing is already apparent, and that is these explosions are different in many ways from what happened on New Years Eve.
Once again Bangkok will be in the world spotlight again for the wrong reasons.
