LIVING DANGEROUSLY

Every night I travel part of the way home via the MRT (subway) and that involves buying a ticket from a machine. Last night, for the first time, I resisted the temptation to press the 'English' button and instead just pressed the button for where I wanted to go.
It's not that I have suddenly learned to read Thai or anything so spectacular. My destination is the end of the line and the screen displays a map of the route system, so unless the whole network has changed overnight the place to press is the same in English or Thai.
Watch out world - it will be the cash machine next!
