MORE RECRUITMENT EXPERIENCES

I am starting to understand why job adverts say 'Thai female, 22-25'. In the past I have been critical and amazed at the blatant discrimination in recruitment ads, but from my own experience of interviewing close to 30 applicants so far it does appear that females in that age range are more talented and ambitious.
We need a blend of experience, ambition, drive and talent for the new magazine, so it would be foolish (although a nice dream) to have 25 young Thai females working for me. The ratio of females to males so far is about 75:25 and I was told to expect something like that. Perhaps all the guys opt for more manual careers; either that or they become taxi and tuk-tuk drivers.
