MY BIG RACE TIP
I don't miss too much from the UK, apart of course from friends and family, but one thing I did enjoy was an occasional flutter on the horses. In Thailand gambling is prohibited.
I mention it now because today is the start of the Cheltenham Festival. I remember many years ago now that I won just over 300 quid for a bet that cost just 3.50. I was lucky that the first two horses in the three-horse bet won at odds of 25-1 and 33-1. For those who don't know I also had a 1/12th share in a racehorse for a while, again many years ago now.
For the duration of the festival I have decided to give you a Big Race tip - it's up to you whether you take any notice of it. It's just for fun and I'll let you know how my selection gets on.
Today is the Smurfit Kappa Champion Hurdle and I am going for an outsider. Asian Maze is currently priced around 14/1 and may run a big race. If you ignore its last two runs it's well overpriced and could upset Detroit City, the favourite. I suggest a 100 baht each way bet at 14/1. And it's not my choice just because of the name!

How do you place bets? Every website I go to is blocked by the MICT. Unless you are using a proxy server, but I've managed this long without one so don't really want to start now.
Matt, I've had that same problem and have been unable to bet from here. If you do manage to find a site that isn't blocked then your Thailand credit/debit card will be declined when you try to deposit funds because all sites seem to reject any Thai-based cards.
