MAGAZINE BARGAINS

Quite by accident we came across a sale this morning where recent editions of popular English language magazines were being sold for just 20 baht (less than 30p). Magazines like Cosmopolitan, Top Gear, BBC Food, etc, were being snapped up, and although most of the editions were between six and nine months old it didn't stop us buying 38 in total.
English magazines are expensive here, by the time you factor in the costs for shipping. Something like Top Gear for example normally retails around 400 baht, or six quid in UK money. That also puts it around five times the cost of a locally produced magazine.
My personal favourite buys this morning were three copies of Harvard Business Review which normally retail at around US$16.95.
