EARTHQUAKE IN THAILAND, FELT IN BANGKOK

A little more than two hours ago - just before 4pm Thailand time - a 6.1 magnitude earthquake struck the Northern part of Thailand, close to the Laos border.
The quake, according to initial reports at least, could be felt in Bangkok. At that time I was in a taxi travelling to a meeting and I did not feel anything. About 15 minutes later, when I was in meeting on 27th floor, we were ordered to evacuate.
