DUTCH DELIGHT

Holland beat Thailand 3-1 last night, although I have to say that the best goal of the game came from the home side - a cracking Beckham-style free-kick that found the top corner of the net and left the Dutch keeper standing.
The Dutch, who played in their all-white strip, fielded what was essentially a second string but were still easily the more controlled and comfortable. In truth it should have been double that scoreline because they wasted some good chances.
