A VERY LONG HAUL
Two of my colleagues recently flew direct from Bangkok to JFK - a flight of a mere 16½ hours. That's actually not the longest non-stop commercial flight - that record is held by the 10,335 mile Singapore Airlines flight from Singapore to Newark which clocks in at something like 15 minutes short of 19 hours.
My personal 'record' is about 12 hours. I don't mind flying, but I think that length of time in the air is just about pushing the limits of human endurance.
