STREET HABITS DIE HARD

And now one story from the 'Only in Thailand' file ....

Two Thai strays that became top sniffer dogs at Chiang Rai airport in Northern Thailand have been fired indecency, according to The Bangkok Post.
Mok and Lai, both six-years-old, were part of a program initiated by His Majesty the King where street dogs are trained to become police dogs. The duo's nose for sniffing out smuggled drugs earned them respect and admiration. However, police were forced to sack them after passengers began to complain as they 'liked to pee on luggage while searching for drugs' as well as sexually accost female passengers.

The good news is that Mok and Lai are both enjoying their new jobs, rounding up chickens and pigs on a farm.
