COMMUTING TIME

It seems I spend more time commuting now than I did when I first came to Bangkok. Part of the reason is that my office is now on the other side of Bangkok from my condo, but I'm also convinced that the congestion seems to have got noticeably worse in the past 12 months.
In general it takes about 30-40 minutes to get to the office in the morning, but the journey home can take anything up to two hours. I do get frustrated because this time is unproductive at a time when I have lots going on. I also suffer from travel sickness so the prospect of working on my laptop in the back of the taxi just isn't possible.
Without moving there's nothing I can really do, and I'm not planning to do that in the near future.

Why don't you commute by motorbike taxi? It's faster and sometimes even cheaper, but way more dangerous!
