IN THE SPOTLIGHT

This is my moment in the spotlight at the press conference on Tuesday morning. My speech lasted all of about four minutes, which was probably about three minutes too long!
We got a decent amount of press coverage in the Thai media yesterday - including three or four pictures of me, my CEO and my editor in chief. All publicity is good publicity, even if I and my editor in chief have been horribly misquoted in most of the stories. Some of the quotes and facts vary from story to story, which doesn't give a particularly good impression of the standards of Thai journalism. If only I had been speaking then it could have been attributed to the language issue, but the fact that my Thai editor has also experienced the same fate is not good.
And for the first time you can see the name of the new magazine that has been taking up most of the last year of my life.
