OH LOOK, IT'S AN ELEPHANT

I came out of my office last night to see an elephant walking along the pavement.
That was actually only the second one I have seen on the streets of Thailand during my 15 months here. Obviously this young elephant was accompanied by two Thai guys who were doing their level best to attract my attention and get my to pay to feed it/stroke it/have my photo taken with it. I just smiled, shook my head and carried on walking.
Perhaps the most fascinating thing about this is that no one seemed to be paying too much attention to the fact an elephant was walking down the street - an elephant !
Only in Thailand !
