MOTO'S SO HI-SO
My cat Moto only likes the best things in life. I wrote before about his preference for a 'gourmet' brand of cat food; now his preferences have narrowed even further to a specific flavour of said cat food. Talk about being picky.
I have tried to fool him into trying something different, even going to the extent of refilling one of the 'gourmet' tubs with another brand. My cat is not stupid, and if he doesn't like what he's given then he'll meow and meow until he gets his favourite - the one that costs 30 baht per serving and he has two a day. For comparison I can go next door to my office and get a very filling lunch and drink a bottle of Pepsi for less than it costs to keep Moto in 'gourmet' food, and that's not forgetting his favourite chicken flavoured cat biscuits.
I think he's fast becoming the boss in my condo.

60 baht a day for cat food?
That would feed a Thai person comfortably and you spend it on cat food and then brag about it?
Bit rich isn't it?
Thank you for your comments 'anonymous'. I certainly wasn't intending to brag about it, or cause offence in any way, and I am sorry if it came across like that.
What I was intending to do was give some kind of comparison to those readers outside Thailand in terms of overall costs.
Please accept my apology if you, or anyone, was offended by my comments.
Fortunately, our cat quickly turned up his nose at high quality fare and instead relishes the cat equivalent of fast food. It really is amazing how picky a cat can be.
