ALL THE FUN OF THE FAIR

Tomorrow (Saturday, December 1) is the annual Ploenchit British Fair in Bangkok. This year it will take place at Shrewsbury International School on the banks of the Chao Phraya river from 10am until 8pm. There's a free shuttle boat from BTS Saphan Taksin and entrance is 100 baht for adults, 20 baht for children.
This year is the 50th anniversary of what is said to be one of Asia's biggest one-day charity events. Since 2000 it has raised more than 35 million baht (about 500,000 pounds) for a range of projects within Thailand.
If you've got a spare few hours then pop along for a true taste of Britain. For more information check out http://www.bctfn.com/.
