SLIGHTLY SURREAL

Christmas is coming, and along with the trees and decorations there's the slightly surreal sounds of Christmas carols playing in the shopping malls.
Last Sunday I heard 'Frosty the Snowman' and 'Let it snow', both of which made me smile because of the 30+ degree Celsius heat outside, and because the vast majority of Thai people hadn't got a clue about the words.
'Oh the weather outside is frightful .... '. Need I say more?
