SADNESS

I've been pretty upset today as my Grandad passed away earlier this morning. He had been ill for sometime but it doesn't make it any easier. The fact I'm so far away also makes it hard.
Having said that I think being immersed in Thai culture has given me a different perspective on death and what comes next. I believe Grandad is now with Nan, and they're probably having a giggle on how many times I am rewriting this entry to try and come up with the right words.
I saw Grandad for the last time just over three weeks ago while I was back in the UK and I think we both knew it would be the last time. I'm going to a temple either tonight or tomorrow and I'll say a prayer and light a candle. See you someday Grandad.
